The opening segments of Clarice episodes are very atmospheric and color the entire installment. The glass ball in the doctor’s office reflects deep memories, and Clarice reflexively responds. Dr. Renee Li (Grace Lynn Kung) is the psychiatrist the agent chose over all the doctors which were ordered by the agency, and it is because she speaks the same language....

Clarice Episode 9 Clarice episode 9, “Silence is Purgatory,” offers a taste of temporary hell by exploring the connections of the show’s past and getting blocked from forward movement. The team is finally looking into the links between the River Murders and Alastor Pharmaceuticals. The company’s drug Reprisol is responsible for multiple cases of babies born with birth defects, and their well-connected attorney Joe Hudland (Raoul Bhaneja) keeps someone on the payroll just to kill anyone who steps forward....

For The 100 fans, our fight is finally over. The series wrapped up its seven-season run with an hour that saw Lexa return (sort of), Octavia save the day (sort of), and most of humanity choose to completely abandon corporeal existence entirely rather than continue to suffer through life on the ground (again…sort of). Long story short: If you can’t entirely explain what really happened at the end of this show, you’re probably not alone....

When Marvel Studios first announced that they were pressing ahead with a sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange, the news was welcomed by fans of the character and of the movie’s returning director, Scott Derrickson. It seemed like the MCU was about to finally start embracing the kind of horror themes that run through a swathe of Marvel Universe comics. Retaining Derrickson, a favored creator who had previously helmed the likes of Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, seemed like the right choice....

By many measures, the current era of Doctor Who is more diverse than ever before. Not only does the central team feature two characters of color in the form of Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Yaz (Mandip Gill), but Head Writer Chris Chibnall has brought on the first writers of color in the more than 50-year history of Doctor Who to help shape this story behind-the-scenes. While these are steps in the right direction, Doctor Who is not immune to the current pattern of “progression” in mainstream media: From casting more diversely without thinking about how those diverse identities affect the character and story to killing off characters with marginalized identity in the service of white male character development, Doctor Who is making a lot of the same missteps that we see throughout the current era of storytelling....

It seems fitting. The news, which comes out of Deadline ahead of the film’s fall start date for principal photography, is in-keeping with a universe already populated with familiar faces after the first movie. It’s not exactly surprising to see a major new release prove to be divisive, but what’s fascinating in the case of Dying Light 2 is the idea that there seem to be quite a few people out there who just don’t know which words to use to describe how they feel about this game. Even those who have already devoted quite a bit of time to the title usually won’t hesitate to tell you about every one of its problems....

While Elden Ring isn’t technically a Dark Souls game, you don’t exactly have to squint your eyes to see the many ways that the upcoming game borrows certain ideas from the Dark Souls series. This is a FromSoftware game, after all, so nobody thought the studio was just going to abandon all of the incredible work that they’ve done up until this point and somehow decide to start fresh. At the same time, not every Dark Souls game is exactly the same, and with Bloodborne and Sekiro, FromSoftware has shown that they’re willing and able to retain key elements of the Soulsborne formula while playing with the specifics in such a way that makes each title feel distinct....
