The BBC has confirmed that Jack will be making good on his promise with a guest role in this year’s festive special ‘Revolution of the Daleks’. He’s on the poster and everything. According to the BBC: “Captain Jack will be on hand to help ‘the fam’ as they discover a disturbing plan forming involving one of the Doctor’s most feared and dangerous enemies, the Daleks. With the Thirteenth Doctor locked away in a space prison, will Captain Jack be able to help save planet Earth?” The festive special will see the Doctor separated from her Sheffield-based companions who are going to have to face the Dalek threat without her… to begin with, at least. “There’s no bigger treat than the return of John Barrowman to Doctor Who” continued a man who’s clearly never unwrapped a factory anomaly all-chocolate-no-wafer finger of Kit Kat.
